The Dog Park
Now that I'm a little older, I
can go out to visit the dog parks. We went to the one at Helyer
Park today, had loads of fun. One thing that made it nice my
first time was meeting my school buddy Poe. She'd been there
before, so she was there to show me the ropes. I played
with lots of other dogs, but all the pictures seem to be of Poe
and I.

Poe doesn't have a good grip on me here. So I
escape, spin around, and prepare to pounce.

Pinned down again. Now I know why Poe needs that
long tail, it appears to be used for balance.

Another attempt to pin me. Check out
my back legs. If I can just get them wrapped around
her neck I could flip her over head onto her back. ( I
learned that move watching The Matrix )

Oops, she's got my head and my back
legs now. She must have seen the same movie.

|
You can tell from these were aren't exactly
fighting to the death. We're just having fun.

Tug of war with some nasty rope we found in
the park. Modesty prevents me from telling you who won.
Just keep in mind that size isn't everything...

Whispering a joke in Poe's ear. "Did
you hear the one about a Doberman, Dalmatian, and Dachshund in
a rowboat?"
