Well, accidents happen. Saturday morning Mike and I went to the dog park early to beat the rain.  I was wrestling with 3 or 4 bigger dogs when POP, something went wrong with my leg. I let out a yelp and Mike was there in a flash.

Half an hour later we were at the Vet, found out I had a dislocated hip.  We were sent from there to the Emergency Vet in Palo Alto.  When they did X-rays found that  besides the hip being out of place I had a spiral fracture of the tibia on the same leg.  No fun. So, now I have a cast on my entire right leg.

Here I am, stretched out.  On your left side  ( my right ) is the leg I messed up. The hip out of place is pretty easy to see, that's all they expected.

But lower down, they noticed my leg was broken too.

Besides walking around, one of the tricky things is slipping into my bed with a leg that doesn't bend.  I was close to outgrowing it before! Mike says he'll be getting me a new one that fits.
