| Transit Art: I'd always pictured Transit Art as the bright,
inventive, eye-catching ads like I'd seen in Tokyo and
Paris. But London transit is a bit different. The ads on
the trains are there, but London Transport itself commissions and prints
the "art", as well as original poetry. Here's a brief sample of the ads and art I found that brighten up the Underground. |

| Everyone recognizes London Cabs... Big and roomy, moving quickly and efficiently though the streets. And of course, they're always black. Right? No so. Luckily they haven't been sprouting billboard out their tops like the cabs here, but found another way to maximize the advertising space available. |

This will have to do till I get my dedicated Transit Art page up....
