Just some more assorted views from London. The title image is from a pic I took of Big Ben ( well the clock at least ). It was pretty gloomy out that day, so the pic wasn't the best, but with a little tweaking, it works OK for a background.

Most of my trips, I seem to be traveling solo. So, I don't have that many pictures of me in the different locations. Guess I just don't like to ask strangers to take my picture while I grin at them. So, as an alternative: a stand in!

Now I have to admit, taking these pictures, really should be more embarassing than asking strangers to take mine. So much for making sense.

For those "how'd he do that?" types, click on the picture to the left to see the complete image.

Carousel in Leicester Square, near Picadilly circus. Here's where Planet Hollywood, Fashion Cafe, and SegaWorld are. Also quite a few movie theaters too. I saw 101 Dalmations at the Odeon there.

Playing with the camera here...Still trying to get the hang of it, but like the low-light pictures it takes better than the video camera.

This was taken at Hamley's, kind of the FAO Schwartz of London. Actually, I think it's quite a bit bigger. 6 Floors I think, and lots of staff demonstrating the toys on each floor.

Westminster Abby, as viewed from the ATM across the street. Of course, like lots of the famous monuments you hear about all your life.. when you finally see it, it looks smaller than you'd expected.
Tower Bridge from the south side of the Thames. I was walking back across after going to the Design Museum... very small museum, lots of walking to get there. If you go, see the Coffee and Tea Museum nearby.

I like the way this picture came out, click on it to get the full 512x 384 version.( jpeg 90K)

That's all for London at the moment, hope you liked them!
