Applications Engineer 
  • Applications Engineer for Trimble's Telvisant web-based asset management system.
  • System Integration and installation of transportable vehicle tracking system for MinuteMan Delivery, LA, CA. Allows dispatcher to track and dispatch cars for 2 hr. courier service.
  • System design and  integration of demonstration tracking system for Automobile Club of Argentina. Installed and demonstrated system in Buenos Aires.
  • Extensive experience with MapInfo, used for test and verification of various GPS receivers, also when integrated with FleetVision.
  • Installation and testing of Trimble Placer GPS/DR integrated GPS and dead reckoning sensor:  installed in rental cars and tested in difficult urban environments: New York City, Chicago, L.A., San Francisco, Tokyo, Seoul, Singapore, Amsterdam.
  • Testing, programming, and support for Trimble CrossCheck receivers combining GPS with AMPS, GSM, CDPD and GPRS communication.
  • Provided in-country support for Trimble OEM customers in Japan..  This involved testing GPS receivers while driving through "urban canyons" in Tokyo.
  • Submitted ideas and worked on multiple  GPS related patent applications. Fifteen patents issued to date.

    Education

    · BS in Engineering or related Technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
    · Minimum of 6 years experience in multi-discipline systems engineering
